Heavenly Father,
you have promised to hear when we pray
in the name of your son,
Therefore in confidence and trust,
We pray for the Church:
🙏 For persecuted Christians around the world.
🙏 We pray for our local clergy, (wherever in the world you happen to be). For the administration staff of our Church – who keep things running smoothly. For all the volunteers that help with all that needs to be done. For youth workers, Sunday school teachers and helpers in both the school and church situations. We pray especially for those reaching out and working in Pastoral Care.
🙏 We pray for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ within the Roman Catholic Church, as they mourn the loss of Pope Francis and gear up for the choosing of a new Pope.
Father enliven the Church for its mission
that we may be salt of the earth and light to the world
Breathe fresh life into your people
Give us power to reveal Christ in word and action.

ANTI-SEMITISM
🙏 Anti-Semitism is rife throughout the world right now. There is a simpler word for anti-Semitism - it is pure and simply Racism - please pray against racism throughout the world - Racism is a tool of Satan and we should not tolerate it in ourselves or in our Churches and communities! Pray against this tool of the enemy and his lies!
IRAN
🙏 Please pray for Christians in Iran. The majority of Iranians want an end to the Islamic Regime there. The formerly diverse groups against the current regime have finally banded together under one leader! The Crown Prince of Iran in exile. This could mark a signifigant turning point in history for Iran...please pray for wisdom and guidence for him.
ISRAEL
🙏 God does not and will not forget his first people! He loves the Jews, there is not a family in Israel that has not been touched by the terrorism of Hamas and Hezbollah. But especially the families of those hostages still being held in Gaza. Please pray for the hostages and their families and for Jerusalem.With how much persecution of the Jews there has been, and the acts of brutality and barbarism commited against them by Hamas it is understand that some would retaliate against Hamas and the Palestinian people with equal hatred, but it is not acceptable, and thankfully the majority do no, their religion is one where life is held sacred. So Pray also that those few commiting War Crimes are swiftly brought to justice!
NORTH KOREA
🙏 North Korea remains at the top of the World Watch List aa the worst, most dangerous country in which to be a Christian. Being discovered to be a Christian in North Korea can mean a death sentence. Please pray for the people of North Korea, especially Christians remaining there.
PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
🙏 Jesus love the Palestinian children just as much as the Jewish and Christian ones. Sadly they they have been taught racism, hate and fear, while Hamas continues to betray them. Please pray for their protection and salvation. Also pray for Palestinian Christians caught in the war zone. Pray God frees Palestine from Hamas!
RUSSIA
🙏 As Putin continues the War, the Russians have been destroying Churches, hundreds of religious leaders in Russia and Russian held areas of the Ukraine, have been jailed, many tortured and killed. Please pray for these brave witnesses of Christ in Russia and the Ukraine and their congregations.
SYRIA
A Genocide is happening in Syria. Government forces are killing Druze and Christians in their thousands. The only ones helping are Israel. Druze in Israel just across the border concerned with relatives and others in Syria having seen video's of the massacres have crossed the border into Syria to try and help, the IDF has joined them bringing trucks of medical aid and supplies and bringing many Syrian Druze back into Israel with them. The Druze are considered allies of Israel. Many Christian and Druze refugees are making their way to Lebanon the Spiritual home of the Druze religion. The Christian Church there is seeing a huge influx of Christians and Druze seeking help. Please pray for the Druze and Chirstians of Syria and for the Church in Lebanon for provision.
UKRAINE
🙏 The fact that the Ukraine has held its own (sometimes barely) against Russia for 4 years is a miracle! War is never good but neither is giving into tyranny and Putin is a tyrant; his rule has been characterized by the suppression of political opponents, restrictions on freedom of the press, and a strong personality cult.. marking him as dictator! Please continue to uphold the Ukraine in prayer. There has been a recent major missile attack on Kiev, 23 people died....many of them children, as the EU Embassy and Office in Kiev was damaged, EU leaders are reportedly outraged. Please continue to pray for the Ukraine.
USA
🙏 A mass shooting incident occured in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. at the Annunciation Church, which was holding an all school Mass for the students of the Catholic School so many many children were present. The Chief of Police in Minneapolis has reported, 2 young children were killed as they sat praying in he pews. 17 others were injured, 14 of them children, 2 of whom are in critical condition in the Hospital. The shooter then took his own life. All the children and adults in the Church will be traumatized. Also many of the 1st responders, who won't have time to process until everyone is treated and safe. Please pray for the families of those who have died, for the wounded, especially those in critical condition, and their families and loved ones. Then pray for the 1st responders. May our thoughts and prayers be with Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Creator of all,
lead us and every people into ways of justice and peace,

Teach us to care creatively for its resources.
We pray for our Country:
🙏 FLOODS - We pray for all those who have been and are being hit by floods in Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough. at the top of the South Island, along with those in Taranaki, Waikato, Hawkes Bay and other areas of the upper North Island still recovering and cleaning up.
Give grace to all whose lives are linked with ours.
May we serve Christ in one another, and love as he loves us.
We pray for those in need:
🙏 Please pray for Murray who has had surgery and is recovering in Hospital.
🙏 Please pray for Ayesha who has a nasty tummy bug.
🙏 Please pray for Adrian who is stuggling with depression, especially since the loss of his mother. Please pray for his salvation and that God would bless him with peace.
God of hope comfort and restore
all who suffer in body, mind or spirit
May they know the power of your healing love.
Make us willing agents of your compassion.
Strengthen us as we share in making people whole.
Thanksgiving
Lord we praise and thank you for:
🙏 Please pray a blessing for all those on prayer chains - the many who faithfully pray and intercede for others. There is a lot of hurt, pain and evil in the world, sometimes it can feel overwheming and sometimes a tangible sense of the sadness God feels about it can also be felt. Help us remember Jesus is big enough to love all of us. But today especially pray for those who upon receiving a text, pause whatever they are doing and for a few moments, reconnect with God to bring the plight of someone who needs prayer to his attention. Thank God for the love and compassion they have towards others.
🙏 God’s creation that is still going on around us.
🙏 God loves us so much during this difficult time, and he shares our pain, fear and grief. His shoulders are large enough to embrace the world - it is natural to worry, but it is also a burden we need not bear, give the worries to Him.
🙏 Give thanks for our worldwide family of God, loved by God and by each other.
🙏 Our families, friends and loved ones and our church families.
PRAYER 7's
