Almighty God,
your Church is built on the foundation
of the apostles and prophets
with Christ our Lord as the cornerstone;
grant that, united with them in faith and love,
we may be part of that living temple
which is being built to your glory,
now and for ever.
Amen.
Prayer
Our Father,
your kingdom come
on earth as in heaven.
Holy and everliving God,
by your power we are created
and by your love we are redeemed;
guide and strengthen us by your Spirit,
that we may give ourselves to your service
and live this day in love to one another and to you;
through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
